Lyrics

I want to dive in to a portion of Scripture God has really been Placing this on my heart After going through it and going Through it and going through it I believe that God has something To say If you can turn with me to Revelation 21:22-23 And I'm going to see where the Lord takes us But I believe that God has Something to say The bible says and I saw no Temple in the city For its temple is the Lord God The almighty and the Lamb And the city has no need of sun Or moon to shine on it For the glory of God gives it Light And its lamp is the Lamb Now I believe that there is a Great misconception in the body Of Christ today And I believe that its something That we as a people have to Tackle And I had to ask myself this How or what does the church Actually look like What was the divine intention of The church How was it supposed to look How was it supposed to be run And the Lord really put this on My heart Because there is a great misconception in the earth And what I realized was or the convicting thing that I realized Was that the church isn't a Church because of the building That the church isn't a church simply because of the choir That the church isn't a church Simply because of the preacher The church is the church because God is there Now he says Going back to the scripture in Revelation 21:22-23 I want to make this plain and Simple For each and every person who Hears this under my voice I believe this is so important And I saw no temple in the city There was none For its temple is the Lord God The almighty and the Lamb In other words When you get in the midst of a group of people That are focused on just Him Not everything around Him Not the angels Not the prophets Not the apostles but just Him Your reward becomes an Intimate relationship With the King of kings and the Lord of lords And in that relationship You can always draw from a well That will never ever run dry
