The Process

You know, as I've grown I've grown And as I've learned I've learned I realized that My greatest goal in life is to just be A better person than I was in the past Man, listen I'm just tryna fulfill my mission Gain knowledge and wisdom and travel to different dimensions Spread love, that's the highest form of understanding You comprehend if you discern knowledge comes before wisdom And know that life is the result of molecular fission Misunderstanding the product of myopic vision Foolish consistencies, self-imposed mental condition Free as a bird, you can keep your mental prison I've flown a lot, so now before I speak I look and listen Value sleep, exercise, and proper nutrition I've learned my place and I know my place is where I make it I'm sharing these jewels so if you want it you can take it Persistence overcomes resistance, so be patient Strike when the time is right, you only know that time by waitin' We think we won't but sometimes it can take years to awaken And those acting they know it all are the ones that are fakin' Many times I was wrong and felt right but it's all part of the process God bless ya life You know You have to fall in love with the process 'Cause you are the process And really that's what it is Free-floating, like the universe and cost emotion Trying to kick the internet but all that dope is so potent Philosopher's stone, we are looking for that magic potion But it takes finesse, you'll never pry your third-eye open And if you go by what you've heard, your eye third open And it's not real until you act, even if words are spoken Sometimes this hope can get so thick it can feel like you're choking And if you're not careful how you're moving, you'll wind up broken They love you when you're up, that love fades when you're down One day you look up and guess what, nobody's around So keep your spirit high although your body's on the ground Clean on your grind, because the best bread it's stone brown Lies when you sniff 'em like a bloodhound Fake people, see through 'em like ultrasound The only thing that matters is dude, your true best Forget everything else and fall in love with the process
