Bottle Of Champagne

Once in a while, when I'm running around I hear the clock ticking, and I don't like that sound It usually means that I'm in a rush And I don't like being in a rush that much Everything gets done, and it gets done just fine Why am I always, on a time line When things get tough, and I feel taxed I shut off my brain, and try to relax I get a bottle of champagne and a seafood platter Sometimes it feels, like the clock stopped I wanna make a play, but the ball dropped I reach for the board but it's check mate I talk to my friends, and I can't relate Eyes are wide open but I can't see Doors are unlocked but I'm not free When things get tough, and I feel taxed I shut off my brain, and try to relax (refrain) Once in while, things are really swell Everyone can hear me, I don't have to yell When I hit the ball, it's hole in one When I hit the town, It's a lot of fun Do what I want, never get caught See what I want, and it gets bought When things are cool, and I feel good I'll try to remember, to knock on wood (refrain)
