I find myself today pushing this pen to this pad
To pour my heart out to you
I realized today I never got the chance to

Or wish that my memory could just erase you
Too much pain and loss to juggle on many days
But I've come to know if it was your choice it wouldn't be this way
I never got the chance to say thank you
And I'll never get the chance to repay you
Today I learn that you are me and I am you
Today I validate everything you went through
You are me and I am you
I will do all the things you dreamt to do
Just hold the love I have for you until I need it back
Just hold my heart and cover it keep it in tact
I ask for you to hold me down from heaven
And when I need it be my blessing
I hope heaven's not too far
Cause heaven's where you are
