God please I scream from my knees Bring her back by any means Multiple identities became her enemies This wasn't how it was supposed to be Leading me astray Setting me up to be betrayed Just go down the street and play Everything will be okay Gone before I was ten You decided your own end Lead buried under the skin I guess you let the devil win Life's greatest sin Was committed again Self hatred builds within Knowing I couldn't charge right in You're lost in a tailspin Your hope is frail and thin Deceived by silence you find yourself in No notes of hope from God's violin Calling out is the lady in the lake Drowning from all of her mistakes Coiled round her throat is a snake Relieve her misery for heaven's sake Why did I believe you? I had no clue, I had no clue For the next time I saw you Your skin would be pale, your lips would be blue Darkness stretches far and wide Nowhere to run nowhere to hide The Reaper needs a bride The Ghoul was there, it was your guide Heaven set you aside So now you must decide A chance for Storms to subside Hope never had a chance to reply Life's greatest sin Was committed again Self hatred builds within Knowing I couldn't charge right in And save you from this desperate end But you were already condemned Sorrow sings it's melody So here's my elegy You left us here while you travel alone But where that path leads, you couldn't have known Ending your life didn't end the pain You just passed it on, now we'll never be the same Now we'll never be the same
