It could've been so meaningful But now your whole career is dead as Namikaze Minato I'd wish the worse for you, but wouldn't mean it though Wanna see my people prosper and flourish for greater growth Even if it means 'til forever that we ain't never speaking I enjoyed the time we had and I don't need a greater reason To love you until I die, I'm giving up on my pride If it means that I'll be living for what instead of for why I was looking back and I cried in retrospect and denial Of how part of me is still yours and a part of you still mine, so If you share your light with me, I might just share my light with you If you share your light with me, I might just share my light with you If you share your light with me, I might just share my light with you If you share your light with me Won't you share your light, light And that's it right there That's the Winter in Wonderland EP If you took the time to really sit this project I just want to let you know how much it means to me Right now it's December 29th, 2021 3:45 in the a.m. You know, the majority of the songs on this project Five out of the seven, I wrote Between December of 2020 to February of 2021 I was going through a pretty dark period to say the least I felt isolated, Alone, helpless So, the winter in Winter in Wonderland, It represents more than just the season in which these songs were written You see, I was always fascinated with the idea of a Wonderland A place where anything is possible Where your dreams can exist before they ever enter reality A place where you can nurture those dreams Until they're strong enough to stand on their own But, on the other side, the winter represents that feeling of no hope When your ideas, your hopes, your dreams, It doesn't seem like they can come into existence In the context of Wonderland, it's when nothing is able to grow A reflection of the feeling of being trapped in a seemingly endless winter But, eventually, even after what may seem like an eternity Spring will show its face again So, this goes out to anybody going through their own winter right now Just gotta trust and believe that it's gon' get better 'Cause, like it or not Spring is on its way TraeLife
