It's early in the morning
Just past seven o'clock
I'm headed down to breakfast
But my mind's still waking up
The sun is creeping over
The tops of the trees
The cool air makes a gentle breeze
And I felt this peace
With the few extra moments
At the start of my day

As I sat down to pray
It's rare to get this quiet
In such a crazy time
As I look to another busy day

Help me to appreciate this day you gave to me

And to see Your grace in all the little things
Racing between classes
Running 'cross the campus
Drowning in my pages
Of assignments in between
In the day there isn't time to think
Just enough to work and read
All I can do to stay afloat is sing, sing
Lord, help me in the mid-afternoon
When it all feels like too much
Let me bring it back to you

And let me glorify your name in all I do

It's well past eleven, the day is winding down
Some guys are singing worship down the hall
In a moment of reflection, I ponder in amazement
That today your grace, it got me through it all

To see your graces from today, beginning till the end
