Dried creeks for thirsty grounds
Dusty red tracks for errant souls
I think I travelled a lot over the last two years
Drove far deep into my thoughts
Farther and farther out
Trying to reach the starting point
Got a painted desert coloring my retina
A dry lakebed cracking under my feet
A mountain snake sleeping in peace
Restless winds blowing to the sky
