Something Happened in the Water

Something happened in the water Something happened I have changed Cuz in the presence of my sisters and my brothers I disappeared, Only to rise again My friends and family came to witness In the blessed waters of the Bow They watched this sinner step into the river To step back out again washed as white as snow! Well I sang Praise the Lord, I've been saved And then I dipped beneath the waves Its a gift from God, So I sang Hallelujah Cuz' the devil took the loss When Jesus died upon that cross Through his blood my sins are washed And I'm renewed The only way back to the Father Is through you Jesus You're the way You' re the life... You are the truth You're worth the fight! The Pastor walked us to the river And gave his sermon on the shore He asked if Jesus Christ was my King and Saviour And I said, He's my King of Kings and so much more! My sins and sorrows felt the shiver The icy waters stole the pain The old me died in the arms of my Pastor The new me sprang out of the river a better man And here I am!
