I don't wanna be a problem I know people have more trauma than I do But everybody needs a father That isn't living for the bottle like you do So, I'm telling you I tried so hard to get used to life without you But I don't want to ever forget the things I wish you said Wouldn't hurt to hear, "I love you" But when the push comes to shove It's just to slam the door Would it really kill you to take time to see That the time you took away is what's killing me Now I'm telling you I tried so hard to get used to life without you But I don't want to lose all the things I miss about you I'm half whole-hearted, and now the hardest part is We can't restart this I can't forget the things I wish you said I don't wanna be a problem But maybe that's not my problem
