See my love So sleepingly sad See my poet painter Drawing his words How I long for him to Paint me a poem picture Of himself for me So that I might see See my love Ever now resounding Striking the purest homes To colour his world And I long to know him He plans to leave tomorrow Or stay here with me So that I might see See him gazing up to nowhere Or is it some place I don't know That he dreams of But he can't go He can't go 'Til tomorrow My, my love So leaving me quiet Off to find his rainbow lady Taking his words And I long for him to Send me a poem treasure From some ancient sea So that I might see See my love See my love See my love
