I live among the clouds colossal
Lo behold, my hazy scrawl
Like last night's fuzzy tavern crawl
Enter dear, & then recall
Drizzle, rain, mist or snow
Babe, I own it all
Unrelenting to & fro
I saunter back into my throe
There I lay, willingly
Bathe away gracelessly
Stricken by the deep blue sprawl
Mirroring my wicked shawl
Silky-threaded veiling shroud I am
Concealing all the dirty truths I can
Arriving in whatever guise I want
Afraid to show the underlying swamp
The waves below roll ever on
They echo back a candid song
The misty white's my appetite
Within my reach yet fathoms deep
My kingdom burneth through the air
In whispy shapes of smokey grey
Love blossoms as I burn
Fuel for lust, I fill their yearn
Silky-threaded veiling shroud I am
Concealing all the dirty truths I can
Arriving in whatever guise I want
Afraid to show the underlying swamp
I've been drifting
I've been roaming
Waiting for a sign
In my splendour
In my armour
Oblivious to the signs
Descending from my realm of woe
The time has come, the helm must go
Sorrow beckoned I said "no"
I'll flow against the winds below
I'll shed my overcoat of dread
Let sin seep into my head
And a bit of freedom spread & spread
I await what comes ahead
Silky-threaded see-through shroud I am
Revelling in the truth because I can
Arriving in the only guise I own
Baring all my soul it's mine alone
