Perfectly Still

If I lay perfectly still Would it make a difference Cause I'm not going anywhere, anyway And if I turned the tide How long would it take Until the water swept me away? I tried so hard to seek Just a little light But the shadows always bring me back, again And even if I moved an inch, a foot, a mile Where would it lead me And would I want to be there?
