Down Deep

I had the dream again I drove into water I couldn't open the doors I was a goner Watched the water filling up Kicking at the glass Had to hold the air that's left Had to make it last And it was buried down deep, but it found me I had the dream again on top of a building There's people under my feet Probably a million I fall forward all at once kicking in the air I reach out for something that is no longer there And it was buried down deep, but it found me As the ground gets closer I Fill up with regret I just don't want everyone to see me like that Open I thought that I couldn't get out I thought I had packed the dirt down but it found me In my sleep I had the dream again the House was on fire I searched every room for you The smoke rose higher Waited for an alarm to Go off in my head I got used to waking up just as things got bad I got used to waking up just as things got bad I got used to waking up just as things got bad
