I had to learn to be my own person
To not live in another's shadow
To not be bound to another's expectations of me
To embrace fear
To overcome doubt
To nevermind the critiques from those who'd rather see me be a pawn in the game of life
To be a reject
Rebel
To look within myself
To make my own decisions, knowing it would kill other potential outcomes, the what ifs
But trusting that I made the right choice
Trusting that though it all, I'll find my voice
