Why is it so hard to just look in the mirror
It's like we'd rather walk around ignorant
Refuse to get the spiritual lint off of our own shoulders
We just brush it off
Character flaws we hush it off and pass it
Blaming the victim for the areas we haven't chosen to kill yet
Oftentimes we forget that we are The Church
So when we interact with others our lint causes hurt
Which brings up that title of controversy
While we focus on if church hurt really exists
We actually miss the point, running away the fish
Gossip is throwing a fish fry
Instead of removing beams from our eyes
And reflect he who inspired the Good Book
Those words were echoed
If we just took the time to let go of the image and look inwardly
The introspection would allow our fruit to be
Like Christ
Mirror, Mirror
