Charnel stench choked the Earth
Miasmas hung above cities
Living wailed, spasming in pain, submitting to wilt and rot
The sun eclipsed as the lord made himself known
The uttered divine word shifted the paradigm
Laws of nature thus revoked, bent to his will
I awake in ruins
Denied death I revere the catalyst of doom that consumed the Earth
I see the king of night crowned

The prayers beget you, your word merged the life with death
And the aeon of blight has begun
