Left in the dust, left out to rust
Where no one can find
I wanna catch up, but I'm too scared to try
They're so far ahead
So I guess instead I'll stick behind
I know someday, I'll have to move
I can't stick here forever

They say, "Better late than never"
When the road ahead looks rough
And I'm not wearing the right shoes
So I don't see the harm waiting a bit longer would do
Everyone's lеft, and I miss them so
But that's on me
I watched thеm leave, and let them go

At least for now

And join the race when I learn how
