God I thank you for everything you are
And everything you've been
And everything in between
I thank you for the blessings bestowed upon me
And the light that you so graciously gleam
I thank you for my lessons
I thank you for my growth
I thank you for the ways that you've protected me in ways that I'll never know
I thank u for my joy
I even thank u for my pain
I thank you for the promise and your presence as the sun rises each day
I asked that you hold my heart in your hand
As I learn to navigate through this emotions
I ask you to help me heal through things
That still have gone unspoken
I ask for ur protection
And that wisdom for everything
I ask u restore my vision towards everything I've overlooked that u need me to see
I don't ask that u keep me from crying
Instead I ask u to help me purge it all
And I don't ask that you keep me from falling
I ask that you help to me to rise again and still stand tall
