I don't know who needs to hear this But this is for you Whoever you are, wherever you are Be true to you Don't settle for less Value yourself Be the best you can be And get out of that mess! He tells you he loves you, he wants you to stay He treats you like trash and you think it's okay You've got many bruises, quit making excuses Come out of the trap you've coiled yourself into I know that you love him, I know that it's true But this is abusive, you can't continue Like this is controlling — quite manipulative I can't see why you want to stay with a narcissist She tells you she's okay, she says you're enough But deep down inside her, she knows that you're not You can't afford her and it's driving you nuts You struggle so hard meanwhile she's got back up She tells you lies over and over again She taunts you and teases you over again Emotional blackmail, you're going insane It's getting all messed up, you want out but you're stuck Okay, let me just say this There are times when you need to love people from a distance For the sake of your sanity If you're in any relationship That makes you depressed That doesn't bring out the best in you Do yourself a favour Leave! Get out of that mess that you call a relationship You deserve better, not a situationship Go out and be great, the future is brighter Believe me when I say the future is better Stop wasting your time being abused and depressed There's more to life than being loved less Take out more time to learn to love yourself The best you can do is invest in yourself Go out there and develop your skills Set those goals, make them real Take a step, one day at a time Never let kindness go out of your mind Love the Creator, love those around you Be with positive people, let them surround you Be prayerful, don't settle for less then Learn to be the best you can be And someday you'll find the one Who wants to love you Just as much
