The first song eye to eye is about me being true to myself
To all the dreams I have and had when I was younger
There was a period when I had a lot of things going on
And I was a bit stressed about it
I chose to put a little less time in music and focus more on studying
One day it hit me, ironicly when I was walking to uni
What am I doing?
Why am I putting something I love second to my plan B?
This situation could very well be the reason
I came up with the idea for eye to eye in the first place
Eye to eye is also about the standard
Having a dream to make it in music and wanting to pursue your dreams
But having people around telling you what you should and shouldn't do
And that you should really have a plan B
Because you're probably not gonna make it in music
Same old, same old
The song started out as a catchy acoustic song
When I came up with it in my head
But obviously it needed to be a rock song, so I changed it to be one!
