Pale Horse

Walking through life I am my own guide My life is perfect, why should I change God can wait, I am enjoying life True faith comes with rules I'd rather not live by All my life I've lived for myself without a care for anybody else I need to change, become a better man I may believe in God but not as much as I believe in myself I need to change, become a better man I can't think straight I can't control my mind My judgement's clouded by selfishness and pride Maybe I'm not so perfect no master of my fate My God I was wrong I do need to be saved All my life I've lived for myself without a care for anybody else I need to change, become a better man I may believe in God but not as much as I believe in myself I need to change, become a better man And when he opened the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say come And I looked and behold a pale horse And it's riders name was death and Hades followed him I have been crucified with Christ It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God Who loved me and gave himself for me To come close to God you must pick up the reins of the horse of death Deny yourself pick up your cross and ride it to your King Ride away from pride on the pale horse Ride away from hate on the pale horse Ride away from sin on the pale horse Ride it to your King Reborn in Christ I live to serve my King I'll ride the pale horse into eternity
