Turn my headphones up During meditation, I be feeling like Gandhi Thinking 'bout the world and how we walk it like zombies Brainless and dead Messed up in the head The hardest pill for me to swallow is you can't please everybody 'Cause we all different (Facts) Got our own opinions (Facts) Growing up in different houses and living conditions You my family, you know that I'll kill for you And I seen how you grew up You know that I feel for you, but That night, I just didn't feel right Turning off the lights Hoping that the morning still bright 'Cause we all lost our cool and we all did fight And I'm really not against you I don't wanna pick sides I just wanna see a change 'cause I know I'm not the same Started working on my mental, put it in a new frame I know it's many people that we really could shame But it wouldn't feel right if I didn't take the blame because (Is it so bad?) We came from the wild, and it's all lethal On the phone with my friend and she told me That her little cousin in some trouble Said that a couple little kids wanna punch him I'm just hoping that the whole city really doesn't wanna jump in Only been on this earth for 20 years And my dad been on it for 20 plus more Now I know I really don't understand everything I'm just hoping in my life I get the chance to explore And not ignore all the problems we facing Stand up to whack society and time that it's wasting Stand up to false idols and the lies that they saying We all can be happy We just gotta stop waiting Stop playing!
