Great Force

It's a Saturday morning, couldn't come too soon Hanging with my brother and we're watching cartoons I remember that youth and levity There is no other place I wanted to be Then came Monday we went into the world Pulled in all directions as our lives unfurled We might not talk for a little while But a brother is a brother and he can always make me smile It's a great force that brings us together It's a great force that sometimes I can feel We've been thru some hard times and we helped each other out We would talk about our parents and we know without a doubt They're still giving us direction Showing us the way Then they stand back and let us figure out the day It's a great force that brings us together It's a great force that sometimes I can feel Well, you might not have a brother (at least in the biological sense) But surely there is someone who represents The connection you remember, you cannot deny Just turn around, know the reason why It's a great force that brings us together It's a great force that sometimes I can feel It's a great force that brings us together It's a great force that sometimes I can feel It's a great force that brings us together It's a great, great, great, great force for you and me
