O Honey We're Ridiculous

Oh honey we're ridiculous. All our hopes and dreams are such silly thing, they're just like us. And the schools were right and god knows we were wrong to carry on And we are wrong to carry on how we carry on Oh honey we're ridiculous. Like the overweight or the Crippled-legged there are nasty names for people like us. And be it an animal, vegetable, Criminal mind it is ours until we lie with The dirty earth covering both of our eyes. They often dismiss us, they're never gonna kiss us. Yet we smile with pride for what others would usually hide from Oh honey we are... Y'know if we didn't need so much muscle. And if they would waive the need to think (or to speak). And if we didn't have to show up on Time, y'know I think it's gonna be alright, Y'know I think it'd be just fine. Oh honey we're ridiculous. I mean, I'm no Clara Bow, but at least I own some of her pictures. Oh I'm ridiculous, to think we'd be famous, Dumping the doldrums, So I took aim and I shot a man just for snoring! They're out to destory us. No one in their right mind is gonna employ someone like us, Yet we're ready to die for what people won't blink an eye for. They'll try to deride us. Ch-ch-ch-chide and villanize us. You know I'd go to the floor for you, oh honey for you.
