This Abundance of Truth

Genocide on the way to the classroom, I ducked under a desk and I think it saved my life. One can never know the meaning of a real good vibe, 'Till they die. All they found was a depose coward, And an empty bunker where the warhead should have been. So let's unite it for wide super power 'Cause it's easier to win. I can't believe when they say to me: "Just look how far we've come" Empty successes, that are mentioned, By false battles bought and won. Turn our backs on a dying nation, we with all these drugs, That could maybe bring them some relief. Oil, sugar, coffee, cattle, tea and plastic, We'd save the poor ones who can't eat. Like maggots, surgeons, tax and freshly-frozen leeches, Leaders fire off the same old speeches. "This could be the time that change might happen" Is who we are unchanged?
