Out in the Streets

she dont' hang around wtih the gang anymore. she don't do the wild things that she did before. she used to act bad she used to but she quit it. it makes me so sad. i know she did it for me. and i can't see her heart is out in the streets. she dont' hold me tight like she did before. she dont' wear those goofy old black pants anymore. but she's not the same something bout her kiss, and tells me she's changed i know there's something missing in side. something died. her heart is out in the streets. she grew up on the sidewalk seemed like she grew up with no one to love she grew up on the sidewalk she grow up loving free. she grew up and then she met me she don't hang around with the gang no more. she doesn't smile like she did before i wish i didn't care i wish i never met her the waiting out there and know i got to set her free. she's gotta be out in the street. her heart is out in the streets.
