Each little bird had flown
They travel on to find a new home
And with winter coming on
The trees once filled with song
Carry on with a naked melody
Each little leaf has turned
Crossing the bridges that we have learned
And we fight back from the cold
Pray summer will regain her hold
Autumn lights beg for longer nights just the same
Each little seed lies sleeping
Waiting for light and springtime dreaming
And this day is very gray
Come may the flowers play
But for now, we'll watch the starlight's glow till those days
