Hey, you can't lose faith in this suffering generation Hey, this life has meaning, so don't ever look down on humanity 'Cause sure, everyone dies, but right now you're alive So don't just sit there and give up on your heart You've been dreaming, but look how it's fallen apart All your cynical views will not help you at all If you give up too soon, you'll be sure to fall Hey, we've made it this far And now everyone wants to cry Making jokes about dying- wait It was just a joke?
