Reach out beyond the light Look to the world for the very first time Witness the sight of a heavenly being That beckons you forward to break yourself free The wandering scavenger Finally free from his keyless cage (Out of the dark) Now he embarks Searching the earth For his sweet seraphim All that he knows is that He's on top of the world Finally able to look up and see The sun set and rise He's still searching for the melody the one from his childhood dreams He keeps pressing on But struggles to find The godly guardian angel that will bring him peace of mind With nowhere to go, and nowhere to hide He quickly learns that everything is dangerous outside Lurking around Avoid the light Only night gives temporary solace Stay underground There's no one to fear But you know you'll never find her hiding here Hidden away Keep on searching for the one who set you free, Free from your cage Tread the earth until you cross her path again And bask in her grace Crumble to your knees and pray Don't come near me Don't revere me Pray to someone else Cause I am Not your savior Or salvation Leave me be Please have you lost your mind Our lonesome scavenger is turned away He lost the chance to thank his savior Never will he face the girl again Wandering far to find his way back home He takes a long solemn look at the sky Where the sun wake from sleeping in And the moon goes to bed with the stars He was at the top The top of the world Had his heart Entirely unfurled Determined now to see her once again To make his amends He will save her from the unforgiving world That he had to bear (bear on his own) He won't rest until he saves the angel he's been searching for
