Driving along Onion Avenue
The munchies were turning my stomach blue
Fast food galore, there must have been 50 or more
And all with a small window drive-through
Plastic signs with names so bold
Keeping score of the amount that they'd sold
All the goodbyes, those burgers and fries
Shakes and soft drinks ice-cold
A single, a double, or should I get cheese?
Give me a burger with lots of grease
While making my choice from the this box came a voice
"Could I take your order please?"
Burgers by the light of the salad bar
Chocolate chip cookies they keep in a cookie jar
There's piping hot coffee free down at the diner
Giving my stomach a brand new liner
Wendy's, Crystal, Burger King I see

Oh Sandel's, oh Jo-Jo's, oh Ronnie's Big Mac
All of them just another hamburger shack
The fast food joints are helter skelter
Each one of them just another french fry shelter
